I’d love to be able to say that everything I’ve done until now has all been part of some grand design. Well, if it is, it isn’t mine! I’m here because ‘here’ is where the path led me. So it is with a grateful and humble heart that I find myself in an industry I passionately believe in, doing work I love. My career has been a vehicle through which to better myself, provide a great life for my family, and make a meaningful difference in the world. Thanks to the brilliant folks I’ve worked alongside, learned from, befriended, and gone into business with, I have been fortunate enough to collaborate on some of the largest hiring projects in the world, helping more than a million people find work. I only hope that some of that number share my good fortune, in finding a career that ignited their passion in the same way.
My proudest professional accomplishment came during the pandemic, partnering with the NHS to deliver tens of thousands of frontline workers to tackle the national health crisis. This was the realisation of everything our industry can achieve on its best day, and a privilege to be a part of. Not to mention, the folks at the NHS are some of the hardest working, and most inspirational, people I’ve ever met.
I’ve been in the industry for 19 years, and I’ve seen it all. From humble beginnings in telesales to leading experienced sales teams, I’ve learned a thing or two about the value of great people. I’m also passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals. A true problem-solver with a human touch, I thrive on finding the perfect solutions that bring success to everyone involved. Watching teams and projects thrive and flourish has been a huge driving force in my career. My other driving force is my family- my hubby who has spent the last 20 years pushing me to always go further and try everything that scares me, from abseiling down Table Mountain to shark diving – trust me, I am far from an adrenaline junkie! And I can’t forget my 2 little munchkins, who are my little treasures that give me the inspiration, energy and drive to go above and beyond always.
As a results oriented person I’m practical and pragmatic. I’m also highly ambitious and competitive. I pride myself on being an extension of my customer’s team, and then channel my competitive spirit into creating mutually beneficial outcomes and ‘everybody wins’ situations. This approach has underpinned the long term partnerships I have enjoyed with some of the biggest global and domestic brands. Having spent more than a decade in the industry I am motivated by the opportunity to bring a level of support and care that has been typically ringfenced for enterprise customers, to the masses. I care deeply about the people that work at the companies that scarcely get nominated for awards, and are not bringing anything ‘sexy’ or ‘shiny’ to end of year black tie dinners. These people work extremely hard, often with a lack of reporting / systems in place to aid them, and still manage to provide the talent necessary to grow their businesses. My proudest professional achievement to date came during the ‘lockdowns’ of 2020 and 2021 when I partnered with one of the UK’s largest supermarket chains to deliver solutions that ensured the country was able to keep putting food on their table.
I like to think of different ways to solve problems that make a big impact. As an unwavering innovator, I possess an unrivalled passion for delving into the inner workings of my clients’ businesses and processes. By immersing myself in every intricate detail, I unearth extraordinary opportunities for enhancing efficiency and driving success. Most of my recruitment career has been helping health and social care businesses not only attract but help retain top talent. My biggest inspiration on my professional journey has always been my immediate family. They have worked tirelessly in the care sector for most of their life. If one of my innovations could be to clone members of my family and place people like them within the care sector then I’ve cracked it.
I’m a growth leader, storyteller, and market maker with over 17 years’ experience driving enterprise sales and building new commercial channels across the recruitment industry. I thrive in the space between chaos and clarity — where belief, creativity, and pace can turn a blank sheet of paper into something real. At my core, I’m a builder. I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of creating momentum from nothing — crafting the story, finding the signal in the noise, and pushing hard until traction takes hold. My time at Indeed, where I built and led the company’s global RPO channel, reinforced that truth. What started as an unproven concept became the company’s fastest-growing strategic initiative — proof that conviction, story, and relentless execution can move mountains. I’ve learned that growth isn’t a straight line — it’s an emotional rollercoaster. The highs are high, the lows can be brutal, but the key is to keep moving, keep believing, and keep building. That’s what drives me at Yoke: the pursuit of progress over perfection, and the belief that if we keep showing up with courage, curiosity, and craft, the results will follow. I’m a big believer in the power of storytelling — not as spin, but as strategy. A clear narrative creates alignment, unlocks belief, and fuels action. And when you combine that with a team like ours — each bringing something distinct to the table — the sum is always greater than the parts. Ambition alone doesn’t create momentum — action does. My job is to turn that ambition into acceleration, and make sure the ride is worth it.
